EASTERN REGION DIRECTOR
The National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa, Inc. is the oldest African American organization of women
educators.in the U.S. founded in Jersey City, NJ by 8 young African American teachers in 1923. In
the 100 years of its existence, NSPDK, Inc. has over 3600 members in 5 regions across the country.
We are committed to the pursuit of excellence in education, providing support to the youth, promoting
the highest ideals of the teaching profession, and giving freely and willingly of our service to our
communities.
We are further committed to providing guidance to our youth groups, Xinos and Kudos, our college
interest group, the KOT’s and giving scholarships to deserving students to further their education.
I am honored to serve as the Regional Director of the mighty Eastern Region for the next four years.
I am confident that together we will continue to honor the legacy handed down by the “Great Eight.”
The legacy they have left to us has survived for 100 years and is the foundation of our sisterhood.
We will be forever committed to continue to carry the torch of enlightenment everywhere.
